Common Pond Fish Diseases
1️⃣ Bacterial Diseases
🔹 Dropsy (Bacterial Septicemia)
- Cause: Aeromonas, Pseudomonas, Vibrio species (common in dirty water, leftover feed).
- Symptoms:
- Bloated/swollen belly (ascites)
- Raised “pine-cone” scales
- Red hemorrhagic patches on skin/gills
- Slow swimming, loss of appetite
